A new address can be determined for approx. 35% of the returns, and for a further approx. 10-15% a probable statement can be made that the old address is still valid and that only a delivery error occurred.

For this purpose, an elaborate multi-stage search process is used to access information from Deutsche Post Adress, alternative providers of relocation information, Einwohnermeldeamt pool requests (multiple use) and current telephone directories.
